Calm PC-98 Retro Music – Soft Ambient & RPG-Style Tracks for Focu...

i really ended up enjoying the Emerald Dragon soundtrack. i have it downloaded
The Shinri Game 2 Magical Trip (Super Famicom) - full ost · o (a particular track...)

actually it's kinda crazy how i look at oneohtrix point never - replica and this reminds me of it, because i got introduced to oneohtrix point never through a super mario world rom hack named casio mario world, where several sample-heavy oneohtrix point never tracks were translated into super nes music, so in my mind they still have the grain of super nes also because the replica tracks are certainly built similar to this. maybe a lot more aggressively at times, but... same genres, etc i don't think casio mario world fits in here though, because it's too high energy.
.hack Piano Arrange Collections - Vol. 1

music here is not empty, it's rather that it helps an empty V360 feel better
Hiroshi Yoshimura (吉村弘) - Wet Land (1993) [Full Album]

i experienced this album for the first time via a specific recording in a collection of "St. GIGA Tide of Sound" airchecks available on the Internet Archive. they were mixtapes broadcasted on japanese satellite radio, and varied in genre and intensity, while accompanied with ambient sounds. they're so perfectly dreamlike. i was familiar with Hiroshi Yoshimura before through the albums "GREEN" and "Music for Nine Post Cards", but for whatever reason i never listened to this album. it is responsible for so much of the vibe that i saw in st. giga, and it's always pleasant to come across another one of these tracks used in one of my favorite airchecks "in the wild" while listening to old '80s/'90s music.
